T shirt
Boston
Boston
他的選票在幾天前寄到,我特地借了來看:</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiXSvFuqGHJ-C3LwrPePLISjP8_UbwPGv6tCFELQ2-U8xk-rM-KySepr6d-JUCHgIt2c6zRjvlrnKD7przGaTZxALoe29eqxUaVwT9TWWMvK2t3V6ZaGmIaK3u_MfnM41aUT7iR-8S0jd1zwTprKLrTBaVJpBk8-iQMDvmTJRjjV8Ne9qvy2wg4Y7YpUgI4" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="761" data-original-width="574" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiXSvFuqGHJ-C3LwrPePLISjP8_UbwPGv6tCFELQ2-U8xk-rM-KySepr6d-JUCHgIt2c6zRjvlrnKD7przGaTZxALoe29eqxUaVwT9TWWMvK2t3V6ZaGmIaK3u_MfnM41aUT7iR-8S0jd1zwTprKLrTBaVJpBk8-iQMDvmTJRjjV8Ne9qvy2wg4Y7YpUgI4" width="181" /></a></div><p></p><p></p><p>沒有 Biden, 也沒有 Trump 或是 Haley。 </p>Duncheehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02791711538072526481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5980940228536299669.post-41035635974750225792024-02-13T08:54:00.021-05:002024-02-13T09:44:44.545-05:00Mondegreen<p>Mondegreen</p>

<p><a href="https://screenrant.com/game-thrones-winds-winter-release-progress-update-george-martin/" rel="ugc noopener nofollow" target="_blank">下一本小說 <em>The Winds of Winter</em> 他還剩數百頁寫完。
HBO 在開始播放 <em>Game of Thrones</em>
<p>另一個類似的例子是 Brandon Sanderson 的 <em>The Stormlight Archive</em> 系列。當初在網路上看到有人推薦第一部小說 <em>The Way of Kings</em>,說是多好看,好奇之下我找了 sample 來看。 後來是在讀完 <em>Mistborn</em> 系列小說之後上癮了,才再次去找了 <em>The Way of Kings</em> 來看。這次則是讀了之後成了主顧😂</p></div>Duncheehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02791711538072526481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5980940228536299669.post-72702809684229373702023-11-18T09:12:00.003-05:002023-11-18T09:12:25.719-05:00a postage stamp of a building<div class="Post-body"><p>a (postage) stamp,特別是和信封比起來,是小小的一張紙,進而衍生出這種用來形容很小的一棟建物、一塊地等等的說法: a postage stamp of a building/land/lot/…<br />

www.dictionary.com</p><div class="Post-body">
<blockquote class="uncited"><div><p>scholar</p>
<ol start="2" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><li>a student; pupil.</li></ol>
<p>Words related to scholar<br />
…., student, …</p></div></blockquote>
<p>www.merriam-webster.com</p>
<blockquote class="uncited"><div><p>scholar:<br />
1 :a person who attends a school …: PUPIL</p>
<p>Thesaurus</p>
<ol start="3" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><li>as in <i>student</i><br />
one who attends a school <br />
Synonyms & Similar Words<br />
student pupil ….</li></ol></div></blockquote>
www.dictionary.com</p>
<blockquote class="uncited"><div><p>Words related to student<br />
…., scholar, …</p></div></blockquote>
<p>www.merriam-webster.com</p>
<blockquote class="uncited"><div><p>student:<br />
1 :SCHOLAR, LEARNER(這字是很好的線索,也是完整context的一部分)</p></div></blockquote>
student:<br />
1 :SCHOLAR, LEARNER<br /></p><p>
scholar)。 </p><p> </p><p><span></span></p><a name='more'></a> (*1) <a href="https://www.wwlp.com/news/national/no-graduation-8th-graders-turned-away-from-ceremony-parents-furious/" rel="ugc nofollow">No graduation: 8th graders turned away from ceremony; parents furious</a><p></p>
<blockquote class="uncited"><div><p>In a statement, a Riverview School District representative said, in part: <br />
“… While we understand that this may have been a disappointment to the parents, it is important that all <b>scholars</b>
meet the attendance, tardiness, academic and discipline requirements

courteous and respectful to all comers. We also cannot corroborate the
claims of any eligible student being turned away at the door. However,
we look forward to working with our <b>scholars</b>, parents,
staff and community to help all students meet the academic, behavioral
and attendance requirements for future events.”</p></div></blockquote>

在我們麻州這是選舉出來的公職,他也處理消費糾紛</p><p> </p><hr /><p>另一個,去年的:</p><p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipE9gjLJKYuCdpcPLcRUvhutgJX_P25Yl3TKbgFOMeZ3QLoXsiBplSoIlljevwKBK7OyyjBKXEjjls8iHIj6DhN9E0emB7LtQ5VFhWT6cU7HAgfjhs8LMIrt_hN_PuwpvD3VOC7iI0-GBfG5HXSgRO6KOxg3KeWHpTdJbQBhlbKFKvffaCHTKOGLe1tg/s693/Screenshot%20from%202023-01-26%2008-43-32.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="296" data-original-width="693" height="137" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipE9gjLJKYuCdpcPLcRUvhutgJX_P25Yl3TKbgFOMeZ3QLoXsiBplSoIlljevwKBK7OyyjBKXEjjls8iHIj6DhN9E0emB7LtQ5VFhWT6cU7HAgfjhs8LMIrt_hN_PuwpvD3VOC7iI0-GBfG5HXSgRO6KOxg3KeWHpTdJbQBhlbKFKvffaCHTKOGLe1tg/s320/Screenshot%20from%202023-01-26%2008-43-32.png" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p></p>Duncheehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02791711538072526481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5980940228536299669.post-9592708148163953552023-01-10T20:00:00.000-05:002023-01-10T20:56:05.530-05:00你有足夠的盤子<p>如圖:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEim9_cCZ0FIx957gmFgWy5wIld--9__tWGdUELQjuTfOv_ybAV7FL5AiYe60gXa0JbI04jaDXUt9sFjakckQK6D2N526wKge40KALDAKT7l9KJqBtJw6ihicCt1-sx7R3qIm5u2Fy25zR1_cH32ua1neZFj5LBzEQvd6o31r8hcRtyRA8VvGIidK0pe2A/s2277/IMG_20230110_171213_893.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1140" data-original-width="2277" height="160" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEim9_cCZ0FIx957gmFgWy5wIld--9__tWGdUELQjuTfOv_ybAV7FL5AiYe60gXa0JbI04jaDXUt9sFjakckQK6D2N526wKge40KALDAKT7l9KJqBtJw6ihicCt1-sx7R3qIm5u2Fy25zR1_cH32ua1neZFj5LBzEQvd6o31r8hcRtyRA8VvGIidK0pe2A/s320/IMG_20230110_171213_893.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>網路上看的印尼恐怖片的一幕。 初次看到時,我想到的是臺灣一般在講的「盤子」—— 花大錢當冤大頭的盤子,但是意思不合,再看了一下,原來是翻自英文版字幕:</p><p>你有足夠的盤子 ←→ 即有可能是 "<a href="https://www.ldoceonline.com/dictionary/have-a-lot-enough-on-your-plate" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">You have enough on your plate</a>."</p><p>另一個:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVJQ-9eZWH3idMjn-u538UD3DQz9gfRTLc2aifmEXSPHKRLHWAHAnki2y9_4Zu7GNMW2_qSuzzD6Gbo6FNzq70foDgJInV7dLFIpS4sM4qPasRvFMMtwkyzB5xiAp6S7QuIubyLfqASmRWHl25n0pObi8kwIQalqtKiT8k9uxH8a2zvp1-j6FUieZiuw/s2241/IMG_20230110_172033_102.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="2241" height="171" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVJQ-9eZWH3idMjn-u538UD3DQz9gfRTLc2aifmEXSPHKRLHWAHAnki2y9_4Zu7GNMW2_qSuzzD6Gbo6FNzq70foDgJInV7dLFIpS4sM4qPasRvFMMtwkyzB5xiAp6S7QuIubyLfqASmRWHl25n0pObi8kwIQalqtKiT8k9uxH8a2zvp1-j6FUieZiuw/s320/IMG_20230110_172033_102.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>我的背部正在殺死我 ←→ "<a href="https://www.ldoceonline.com/dictionary/my-head-back-etc-is-killing-me" rel="nofollow">My back is killing me</a>."
