看晨間新聞時看到的新聞標題。熱浪來襲，所以一些學校停課。在知道有些學校沒有冷氣之前，我以為美國的學校普遍有冷氣空調。暖氣當然是一定有。
School districts cancel classes, announce early dismissal ahead of expected hot weather

不過像這次的高達華氏100度的熱浪一般沒有來得這麼早，通常都是在學校放暑假之後，所以我是在最近幾年才在電視新聞上聽到學校因為熱浪停課的消息。唉，只能說這全球暖化喔......
