已經十二年了…… 感覺上我才在幾年前讀了 George R.R. Martin 的 A Song of Ice and Fire 系列的最近一本小說 A Dance with Dragons。

下一本小說 The Winds of Winter 他還剩數百頁寫完。他已經寫了一千多頁。約一年前他也是這樣說，換句話說過去一年這本小說幾乎沒有進展 …… 話說回來，一千五百六百頁，到時讀起來會很爽😁

我最開始是從影集開始看。其實我一開始對這影集沒什麼興趣。 HBO 在開始播放 Game of Thrones 時我有「瞄」到，只是當時我不想看有關中古歐洲的劇集，所以看個幾分鐘後就換看別的節目。後來是第一季播完後在一次 HBO 馬拉松式的重複撥放第一季所有影集時我突然轉到，剛好看到最後一集的神怪場面，這才吸引到我的注意力。接著，我就從第一集開始看起，然後 …… 然後就上癮了。影集看不夠我就去圖書館借了小說來看，只能說真的是讀得很爽。

另一個類似的例子是 Brandon Sanderson 的 The Stormlight Archive 系列。當初在網路上看到有人推薦第一部小說 The Way of Kings，說是多好看，好奇之下我找了 sample 來看。讀了開頭的第一章吧，什麼國王城堡武士啥的，頓時興趣缺缺。是有那個奇幻的像是我們武俠小說的飛簷走壁情節，但是除了覺得讀起來奇怪之外也沒啥特別，於是我斷了想讀這本小說的念頭。後來是在讀完 Mistborn 系列小說之後上癮了，才再次去找了 The Way of Kings 來看。這次則是讀了之後成了主顧😂

繁體中文/臺灣用戶似乎很少。之前本來有繁體中文擴充，但是因為使用人數太少所以拿掉了。多點人參與架站的話是可以申請增加這個繁體中文擴充。繁體中文界面擴充補回去了。

我用了差不多一年多，還真的很好用。申請和架設都很容易，適合架設中小型論壇 / 討論區，每個月至少貼個一兩篇文就不會被關站。就算真的被關站了，跟站長說一下還是可以再次啟用。

上世紀末我還在臺灣時新聞媒體三不五時會有「密醫」的報導，這其中似乎牙醫佔了多數。我年紀還小的時候每次聽到或是讀到「密醫」我都會聯想到我祖母常去的附近一家牙醫。倒不是他們沒有執照、違法經營或是「假冒牙醫」，而是「密醫」這兩個中文字……，什麼是「密」?感覺起來就好像是很祕密、隱密、躲躲藏藏的樣子，而我陪祖母去的這家牙醫印象裡頭外頭好像沒有招牌，然後他們的「門面」和我家一樣。有看過電影海角七號的話，基本上就是「阿嘉的家」那樣，是一整排的木板門塊拼湊而成，上下有軌道，要進出的話把一個木板門塊橫向拉推。診所裡頭也和我家一樣，就是一般住家的樣子，印象裏沒什麼特別的擺設或是裝潢，差別就只是客廳中間擺設的兩三張牙醫看診用的治療椅。

這次在電視新聞上看到這報導，忽然想起這件往事。
